    The Channel 4 lineup for Formula One includes prominent figures like Lewis Hamilton’s brother, Nicolas, and only two women among a dozen members. Steve Jones and David Coulthard will lead the coverage, with Jones expressing excitement about his first major sports show role. The team also features experienced drivers like Mark Webber, Alain Prost, and Eddie Jordan, alongside seasoned presenters and journalists.

    Channel 4’s three-year deal (2016-2018) with Formula One World Championship Limited includes live coverage of ten Grands Prix each season, plus practice and qualifying sessions, without ads during the main races. They will also broadcast extensive highlights of all 21 races, including those covered by Sky Sports. The coverage will start with the 2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, with the first live race being the Bahrain Grand Prix. Jay Hunt, Channel 4’s Chief Creative Officer, praised the new team, calling it a dream combination of talent.
